Jimmy and Karen Hudgens
Associate Pastors
Jimmy & Karen Hudgens serve as associate pastors at CCS. They were ordained as associate pastors in February 2003.
Pastors Jimmy and Karen currently teach at Aleph School of Ministry and lead the Couples Connect at CCS.
Pastor Jimmy graduated from Texas Tech University and was commissioned as a pilot into the United States Air Force. He served his country for 24 years and retired from the Air Force in 2013. As the Pastor for the Aleph School of Ministry, Pastor Jimmy teaches the Leadership class and the Spiritual Foundations class. He is passionate about studying and unlocking hidden mysteries in the Word. His heart is to build up the body of Christ as well as equip and mobilize the army of the Lord in this generation.
Pastor Karen also attended Texas Tech University and serves as the lead intercessor at Christian Center. She is passionate about the presence of God and releasing His heart into the earth. Pastor Karen teaches Intercession for the Aleph School of Ministry, where she encourages and mentors the students to develop an intimate relationship with the Lord through a fervent prayer life. Her love and zeal for God are contagious. Her heart is to see God’s Kingdom “on earth as it is in Heaven.” (Matthew 6:10) and for Jesus to receive the reward of His suffering.
As the leaders of Couples Connect at CCS, Pastors Jimmy & Karen desire to build strong relationships in the body of Christ. Jimmy and Karen also facilitate both pre-marital and marital coaching. They believe the church should lead the way in their communities through strong, Christ-centered, healthy marriages and families.
Jimmy and Karen have two beautiful children, Nicole and Trey, and a beautiful daughter by marriage, Alexis. They are also blessed with two precious grandchildren!
