Scott and Camila Hooper were recently installed as part of the pastoral staff at Christian Center Shreveport. Prior to arriving at CCS, Scott was doing missionary work in Bogota, Colombia with a local church helping administrate inner healing and deliverance and overseeing their street evangelism team. It was also where he met his beautiful wife, Camila! Camila served as the leader of the worship dance team. They both served as mission directors for trips at La Casa. Scott and Camila joined CCS after returning from the Missions field in 2015. They both oversee the Children and Youth ministry at CCS. And Camila also oversees the dance team. Scott and Camila both have a heart for for pure, intimate worship, and to see people burn with passion for Jesus. And at the core of their heart of course, is the MISSIONS field! Their desire for the Body at CCS is to see each individual walking in the fullness of God’s purpose for their life.
Scott and Camila have been married since September of 2013. They have one daughter named Zoe Elena, with a boy on his way. They also have an adopted dog they brought home from Colombia, named Changua (translation = breakfast soup!) Scott has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently working on his Master of Divinity. Camila has a degree in Aesthetic Arts with a focus in Contemporary Dance.
